Navigations and Communications Research Engineer
Nuria joined CTAE at the beginning of 2010 as GNSS expert in the area of Navigations and Communications. She holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico, Tecnical University of Lisbon (Portugal) and an Electronic Engineering degree from the University of Valladolid (Spain). Her thesis focused on signal processing for multipath mitigation and multi-constellation satellite selection in GNSS.
After her engineering studies she moved to the Netherlands to work at the European Space Agency for two years. During this period, she worked on signal performance studies and on the development of algorithms for navigation receivers for both outdoor and indoor positioning. After that she moved to IST (University of Lisbon) to work as a researcher, where she pursued her PhD studies. She has several publications in national and international conferences as well as in journals. Due to her international experience she has language skills in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.
