Aerospace R&D Engineer
Jordi was born the 30th of September of 1984 in Reus, Spain.
He holds a Telecommunications Engineering degree of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), an Automatics and Control degree of the École supérieure d'électricité (Supélec) and a Master in Control Engineering and Signal/Image Processing of Supélec/Paris XI .
His first contact with the aerospace sector was the participation in the “Perseus” project at Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES). He contributed with to the study and comparison of optimal control and fuzzy logic techniques for automatic control of the incidence angle of a nanosatellites launcher.
He carried out his final degree project at “General Electric - Healthcare”, taking part in the investigation of new control strategies for the positioning of a flexible robot structure used in medical imaging acquisition. Jordi joined CTAE team in January 2009, as Software and Robotics engineer.
His interests' area comprises guidance, navigation and control methods, self-learning mechanisms like neural networks and embedded systems.
He loves trekking and travelling.
