Minister and Mayor inaugurated Aerospace Exhibition at Viladecans

CONSELLER HUGUET AND MAYOR OF VILADECANS INAUGURATED AEROSPACE EXHIBITION The Catalan Minister of Innovation, University and Enterprise, Mr. Josep Huguet, and the Mayor of the City Council of Viladecans, Mr. Carles Ruiz, officially inaugurated the Aerospace Exhibition organized by CTAE and the City Council of Viladecans at CUBIC building, Viladecans.
The Exhibition, “L’Aeronàutica i l’Espai s’apropen a Viladecans”, organised by CTAE and the City Council of Viladecans, counted also on the support of the City Council of Barcelona who kindly contributed with exhibition material, BAIE and many companies of the Aerospace sector, such as NTE, exhibiting a real-size model of the MARES system, a training tool for astronauts to fly onboard the International Space Station (ISS); and the UPC Schools of Terrasa and Castelldefels, contributing respectively with their developed Trencalòs and Shadow UAV’s (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles).
The official inauguration by the Minister of Innovation, University and Enterprise and the Mayor of Viladecans took place Thursday 25fh of October 2007, at 13:15.
The Exhibition was open to the general public from Monday 22nd of October until Friday 2nd of November, 2007, and closed with high success in attendance, not only by aerospace professionals, but also by the general public from the city of Viladecans who welcome the exhibition with high interest.
